Possum Kids is a one woman business inspired by watching my nieces play under the big, silky parachute at gymbaroo. Seeing the amazed look on their faces, I wanted to recreate this moment at home. So I started making playsilks! Not only are they great “parachutes” for small children, they can also be used for dress ups and other forms of imaginative play for older kids.
I also sell tooth fairy gifts and party bags. Everything I sell is handmade with love by me, and I also hand dye the playsilks. Possum Kids is the name my grandpa always called me and it made me feel special to have my very own nickname.
