You know your products are gorgeous, but one of the hardest parts of running a business is actually getting your work noticed, right? With all the competition on handmade sites, it’s easy to get lost in the sea of small businesses.
Well, we know that Instagram is an amazing tool for small biz, so we’ve created a way to provide help (ie. EXPOSURE, baby!) for makers like you.
@nestlingcollective is a collection of the dreamiest handmade baby and children’s products created by talented biz babes (and blokes!) on Instagram. We exist purely to showcase the most beautiful handmade brands to our 14,000+ (and growing) audience.
We may be the new kids on the block when it comes to feature accounts, but our followers are YOUR consumers! The Nestling Collective demographic is typically females aged 18 – 34, and are new or expecting mums looking for high quality, handmade items for their baby, child and nursery. These mamas are highly style-conscious, purchase regularly from small businesses on Instagram, and love to tag the makers they purchase from in the flatlays and shelfies they post to their own feeds.
Our features are 100% FREE! So if you think what we’re creating is pretty fab, and would love to see your handmade baby or children’s brand featured on our Instagram feed, then we want to hear from you!
THE FINE PRINT:
Here’s the thing – we’re a teeny bit selective about who we feature. Okay, a lot. But this is to ensure that our feed remains relevant, uncluttered, and curated in a way that showcases the best, most beautiful, and highest quality children’s products we can find.
So, before you apply, please take the time to ensure you get what we’re about. Here are the basics:
- We only feature products for mamas, babies, children and nurseries. If you make kids clothes, you’re in. Accessories (such as headbands, bonnets, baby moccasins and the like), toys, teethers, wraps, décor, keepsakes and bibs are all a big fat YES, too. Pretty much anything that is made primarily for a mother, baby or child are the things we want to showcase.
- We love handmade. So if you make it, then we love you already.
- We reserve the right to refuse any business that we feel doesn’t fit the aesthetic of the @nestlingcollective feed. We’re looking for quality over quantity – think amazing images, beautiful styling, and plenty of white space. We don’t do busy, crowded images, we don’t do dark backgrounds, and we won’t repost watermarked images. #sorrynotsorry
