APPLICATION PROCESS
We will review your application and if you are the right fit for promotion on Nestling Collective you will receive a confirmation email from us with your feature date and timeslot, and a brief rundown of what you need to do on the day.
SHOP DETAILS
Any changes you may want to make to your info (shop name changes etc.) must be received within 24 hours of your feature time. If we do not receive this information we will post whatever details we have.
ENSURING SUCCESS
Your feed should be inviting and clearly show what your business is all about. We also recommend that your profile states what you do, and followers clearly know how to purchase your items. Please note that your Instagram account must be public.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
@nestlingcollective will provide you with an image for you to post to your feed. In the caption we ask that you tag @nestlingcollective and encourage your followers to visit our feed and to like the posted image. The more activity (likes and comments) on both our feed and your feed will increase the success of your feature.
IMAGES USED FOR FEATURES
@nestlingcollective will select the image for your posts. We will not repost images with a watermark or website logo, and we may request a ‘clean’ version of the image. You are giving @nestlingcollective permission to use any photo from your Instagram and/or shop/website. It is your responsibility to let us know if we need to give photo credit to a photographer when posting. To request to see the image we select before posting, please ask at least 24 hours in advance.
FEATURE LENGTH
Features will not be removed unless you have asked us to remove it. We reserve the right to remove any posts and if we decide to do so you will be notified via email.
DISCOUNT CODES
If you choose to offer a discount code for your featured post, your discount must apply to all items in your shop. You can offer a percentage off, or dollar amount off. Because we are introducing our followers to your entire shop, we will not honour codes for specific items. Discount codes cannot come with minimum order requirements or other strings attached. Research shows that the more complicated a discount is, the less likely the post will result in any sales.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
@nestlingcollective is providing a post on our feed to our followers in return for FREE. You are not paying for the results of the post and we cannot make any guarantees on the results.
DENIAL OF APPLICATION
@nestlingcollective reserves the right to deny any shop a feature on our feed without explanation. We are looking to feature shops that match our brand. The main factors we look for when choosing a feature is overall look of your Instagram feed, your product(s) and the quality of your images.
If you are NOT selected, this usually means that your photography, styling or product just doesn’t “fit” the aesthetic of our brand and feed.
FREQUENCY OF POSTINGS
@nestlingcollective limits features to 1 feature per calendar month.
REFUSAL TO POST
@nestlingcollective reserves the right to refuse to post any feature that does not follow and adhere to the Feature Guidelines listed above. You will be notified and given a chance to rectify the situation, however if you choose not to follow our Feature Guidelines, you will not be featured.
RIGHT TO REPOST
@nestlingcollective reserves the right to repost if there was an error on our end. We will fix the situation by reposting your shop feature.
